Konichiwa! Find out a bit more about us!
Go Walkeez is a physical and digital heritage engagement project. It helps to get kids out to explore cultural places and spaces in a fun and interactive way. It also helps collect heritage engagement data.
We also work in partnerships with schools, organizations and cultural institutions. Partnerships are a great way forward as together, we can produce fun, interactive and bespoke outputs that are relevant to the community. This can range from a customized app theme to a full-blown cultural engagement package including the app, the dog, maps, specially designed guidebook, on-line teaching tools (like interactive maps and videos) and workshops. Heck, we’ll even throw in a branded doggie jacket option with the logo of your organization!

Go Walkeez is a research project with a social enterprise arm. We want to use culture and physical fitness to raise awareness and appreciation of the beautiful world we live in.
We are also interested in encouraging creativity. Learn how to compose great images, develop lasting narratives, build empathy and community spirit, and do all these while gaining knowledge about our cultural heritage in a meaninful way.
If you’re a school, cultural organisation or a diamond-hearted patron of the arts, please get in touch!
We are happy to develop a range of activities and offerings with you. Contact us for further details.
*Why not go for the pre-cut paper dog up-grade? Saves you lots of scissoring time. We can also brand your doggies with your logo on their jackets! Expected launch in Spring 2016

Blush, blush. People adore us. Seriously. Here are some of the comments
Go Walkeez developed as a MA project at the Norwich University of the Arts. In fact, it is still a growing project with new ideas emerging, partnerships being created and more friendships being built. People say that it is a really unique, innovative, and (if they are feeling brave to say it to our faces) completely bonkers!
But life is about having meaningful fun, right? Each of the Go Walkeez output has been scrutinized to the T to make sure that what we bring to you is not some cheap dog trick, but something with meaning, intent and, above all, magic.
The dogs are designed to be suitable for indoor and outdoor use (though he might need a good clean after a muddy walk). They jingle and roll, making the walkies a whole lot more exciting. We actually had some boys with special needs take us out and they loved to flick our springy tails and hear our bells ring.
The app is currently being designed with a strong visual and auditory interface so that the use is intuitive, responsive and, most importantly, fun! We’re busting our moves so that it’s all ready to rock and roll by autumn 2016.
Inclusive access and diverse audience participation is one of the key ‘ethos’ of Go Walkeez. It is designed to strengthen a number of different learning skills so that children who struggle with traditional book learning. Access shouldn’t be a problem. The dogs are cuddly friends to help everyone including those who have difficulties engaging in new spaces to feel more confident and safe. Ultimately, we want to engage all children and families including those who may not be accustomed to visiting cultural landscapes.
We want Go Walkeez to cover the entire planet. So we designed Go Walkeez to be scalable. It can be implemented at museums, galleries, historic houses, sites, and cultural tourist points anywhere in the world (well, almost anywhere). It can be used to work with school groups, special needs children’s groups, and family groups.
The project won many prestigious awards and recognitions (in alphabetical order):
